Bring your students to the Westport Arts Center and explore our current exhibition. Each gallery visit is led by an experienced art educator and is designed to encourage active dialogue, creative and critical thinking, and connections to school curricula.
- Groups can schedule visits during an exhibition Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:30-1:30.
- Visits last one hour, and include 45 minutes of time spent looking at and discussing art, and 15-20 minutes for an art-making activity
- The cost is $45 per group
Can’t make it to WAC? The Westport Arts Center is pleased to bring our school-group tours into your classroom! Through our traveling “WAC in a Box” program, a trained educator will come to your classroom and provide a 1-hour interactive lesson. We will look closely at key works of art in our exhibition, and then complete an art-making activity.
To schedule a visit please contact Lillie Fortino, Director of Education.
