Pop into a special Spring Pop Up show by the Westport Artists Collective on Wednesday, March 7 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Westport Arts Center. The Pop Up is free and open to the public, and will be on view Wednesday, March 7 through Saturday, March 10. The Pop Up can also be previewed during the day on March 7.
For this special Pop Up show, all 150 members of the Collective were invited to showcase a work of art, creating an extraordinary display of artistic talent, with works ranging from mixed media to sculpture to paintings.
Amanda Innes, Executive Director of the Arts Center, stated, “The all-member Pop Up takes place once a year, and is a perfect opportunity to support the arts and artists on a regional level. The artwork is accessible for collectors of all levels.”
The Westport Artists Collective Pop Up shows are a reflection of Westport’s creative heritage and are wildly popular events. The Arts Center opens its space to the Collective three to four times each year, allowing local and regional professional artists to showcase their work, and the entire community to show its support.
The Westport Arts Center Collective has quickly grown to include 150 members who have joined forces to share resources, provide support and encouragement to each other, and to develop dynamic art experiences.
